Part-Time Service Office Clerk. Position could transition into full-time for a candidate who exceeds our expectations. The position requires good customer service, computer and communication skills. Motorcycle knowledge helpful, but not required. Willing to train the right person with a pleasant attitude and willingness to accept direction.
Job Description Summary:
The Service Office Clerk (SOC) is responsible for assisting in running an efficient service office. The SOC is responsible for printing bi-monthly technician payroll reports, creation and completion of repair orders, processing limited warranty, extended warranty and insurance claims payments. The SOC identifies dissatisfied customers, provides customer service, resolves small issues and reports/discusses larger issues (along with recommended resolution) to Service Manager.
The SOC assists with a portion of the service writers duties, such as answering phones, writing repair orders and providing exceptional customer service, as needed. The SOC communicates with Extended Service Plan companies in the face of disputed/underpaid claims in order to obtain payment an assures complete and accurate transacting of claims with timely submission of all information needed for the dealership to receive proper credit. The SOC is responsible for maintaining inventory of office supplies, worksheets, etc.
